Hi, I'm Tamar! After working as a pharmacist for 15 years, I became tired and frustrated with the healthcare system.

 

Working in a hospital setting wasn't enough for me, as patients often returned with worsening conditions and were prescribed more medication. I wanted to do more to help them get better and reduce their medication intake.

 

I needed to make a change in their lives, gain autonomy in my career, and actually enjoy what I was doing as a pharmacist.

​

However, my journey to my current position in health and wellness pharmacy practice wasn't easy. I faced some obstacles along the way.

 

That's why I created Raise The Script! My goal is to guide innovative pharmacists who want to actively improve patient outcomes and advance their pharmacy careers by combining their pharmacist skills with genomics, nutrition, and health coaching. By doing so, we can optimize patient outcomes and find true fulfillment in our profession.

DR. TAMAR K. LAWFUL, PHARMD, APH, CNGS

Dr. Tamar Lawful, is a Doctor of Pharmacy and graduate of the University of the Sciences - Philadelphia College of Pharmacy.  She is a licensed Pharmacist in California, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

As a  licensed Advanced Practice Pharmacist, certified  in Pharmacogenomics, Nutritional Genomics, Ketogenic Nutrition and Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching, Dr. Lawful is the CEO & Founder of LYFE Balance where she created the InHer Glow health coaching program for women with metabolic syndrome and Raise The Script to train pharmacists and healthcare practitioners an innovate approach to achieving desired patient outcomes.

 

Integrating her love for nutrition, genomics and pharmacy, she is on a mission to deprescribe unnecessary medications; promote nutrition; guide healthy lifestyle changes; and highlight the importance of self-love to help women reclaim and maintain their health. (read more)
